Hi, I’m Vishwajeet.

A Sr. Product Designer at PhonePe, designing experiences used by millions across India.

But design, for me, was never just a career choice.

Growing up, I was always drawn to building things. Sketching ideas, breaking them apart, and putting them back together in better ways. That curiosity eventually evolved into designing digital products that solve real problems at scale.

But design, for me, was never just a career choice.

I specialize in simplifying complex flows, shaping growth products, and crafting journeys that feel effortless. Today, I design core financial and growth experiences starting with P2P payments and split expenses, alongside rewards, referrals & ads platforms.

I enjoy the challenge of balancing business impact with user empathy, turning messy problem spaces into intuitive products.

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me under a barbell.

Fitness taught me discipline, patience, and consistency. The same traits shape how I approach design: show up every day, improve by 1%, and play the long game.

I’m also someone who feels most alive on the open road. Ever since I bought my adventure bike, a dream I carried since 2016, riding through the mountains has become my reset button. Ladakh was not just a trip, it was a life-changing experience. Standing at Umling La, the highest motorable pass in the world, reminded me why chasing uncomfortable goals matters.

At my core, I’m someone who loves building.

Currently working on super cool stuff like P2P payments, Refer & Earn, Split Expense, Credit Card Destination, Nearby Payments, and FD-backed Credit Card experiences.

Apr 2022 - Dec 2024 • Product Designer

Designed Growth-facing features like Earn, Rewards, and Vendor Payments, optimizing for user engagement and revenue impact.
Led the Rewards Self-Serve Platform design for advertisers, allowing end-to-end campaign management and A/B testing.
Enhanced Deals & Rewards by redesigning cards and saved offer flows, improving visibility and conversion rates.
Spearheaded the PhonePe 3.0 Visual Refresh, aligning products like Mutual Funds, Refer & Earn, and Inbox with the new design language.
Designed International Roaming flows to improve the discovery and adoption of travel plans.

Aug 2020 - Mar 2022 • Product Designer

Sole designer handling all user-facing and internal tools; collaborated closely with CXOs, Marketing, and Devs.
Created SaaS dashboards, redesigned the company website, and handled full-stack product design.
Worked on rebranding efforts and built client-specific designs for partners like Amazon and Infosys.
